Summary

I believe that it is totally true but for a lot of teens and even adults it’s hard to fit in an hour a day into their schedule. If people also chose to do things they like, like skating, playing basketball, or baseball, etc. that it would be fun for them to get fit. But they have to eat right as well or all that work goes to waste. I disagree that teens can fit working out into their daily schedule sometimes there is just no time at all to workout. They could be too focused on school and have too much homeowkr to workout. ”Studies show that teens on average spend more than 6 hours a day on various media, including watching TV, listening to music, surfing online, and playing video games.” I think that’s way overdoing it and is definitely a huge cause of America’s population getting fat. I agree that parents should motivate their children to be active and join a sports team. But, if the parents themselves are obese or inactive it will cause the child to not want to as much.

Workout Summary

What exercises are participating in? Where are you working out? Have you seen any improvements in your strength and/or cardiovascular fitness? What do you need to improve on? What accomplishment are you most proud of?

I've been doing all sorts of exercises lately that I love doing. Including push-ups, skullcrackers, lunges, squats, OB rolls, ab rockets(feels amazing once the pains over), running, lawnmowers, and many, many more. I workout at my schools gym, my backyard, and my room. I actually have seen improvements from the beggining of the year in my systematics conditioning class, to now, but not in the past four weeks. I mainly just need to work on pushing myself. I think im most proud of my abs =-).

Goal summary

This article helped me a ton on setting my goals. Whenever i set a goal, i could only anwser yes to two of those questions. Thanks to O'brien i will be able to use his advice and make some goals of my own. I'm going to be "S.M.A.R.T." on how i set my goals and keeping them. I am also going to write down my goals on my fridge so i will see them every morning and remember them so i don't ruin my long-term goal.

My One Goal

I need to start eating healthier so my workouts will actually pay off.
